On 15 January 2026, all partner organizations of the BIM4D Erasmus+ project gathered in Ljubljana, Slovenia for the concluding project conference. The event took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS), hosted by the ZGIGM sectoral association, and marked the formal closure of an ambitious two-year initiative aimed at developing green and digital BIM skills for end-of-life practices in construction.
Partners from Greece, Italy, Belgium, and Slovenia attended the event in person, while the German team from Berufsförderungswerk der Bauindustrie NRW joined remotely.
The agenda covered key project achievements and deliverables, including:
- Summary of training development, pilot implementation and feedback ,
- Presentation of national and transnational policy reports on BIM and circular deconstruction,
- Overview of dissemination and exploitation efforts across all partner countries,
- Discussions on long-term sustainability, lessons learned, and future opportunities.
The event transitioned into the project’s final public conference, welcoming external guests from the Slovenian construction sector, education providers, and policy experts to explore outcomes and future applications of BIM in circular construction and deconstruction workflows.
The day concluded with a joint social networking in central Ljubljana, celebrating the successful conclusion of the BIM4D project and the strong partnerships built across six EU countries.
